The Apple That Fell Far From the Family Tree
I have lots of smaller cousins in my family and I always give them sarcastic advice and sometimes I actually think they take it. I gave advice to my one cousin, he’s about 18 and heading to University. I told him to go to a University that’s close to home so that your parents are close by in-case you miss them. You may not think so now, but you will miss them. Trust me, it’s a natural bond that god created, and University helps you find it.
A couple weeks later I find out he’s going to live at home and drive to school which is only 10-15min away. The next time I talked to him, I’m like wtf were you thinking? Why would you goto a Uni thats so close to home. He’s like, what? Its cheaper to stay at home and even you said its better to do that. I’m like whaaaaaaaaaaat? When the hell did I say that? So he refreshes my memory. I was just like OMFG! You actually believed me? Then I had no choice but to be honest. I told him straight up, listen man don’t waste your parents money on an education you’re not going to understand. He’s like, what do you mean?
